New interface – Bilnex for e-invoicing

Great news for SmartAccounts users! Bilnex has launched an integration with SmartAccounts. Developed by Finbite, Bilnex is a tool designed to help both businesses and accountants send and receive e-invoices.

The platform also supports sending and receiving Peppol invoices, as well as digitising invoices in PDF format. As Bilnex is a newly launched service, the application is currently completely free to use.

 

Integration features

Sales invoices

You can create sales invoices in Bilnex in PDF, e-invoice or Peppol format. Once created, the invoices are automatically transferred to the sales invoice list in SmartAccounts.

 

Purchase invoices

Bilnex allows you to receive e-invoices, including Peppol invoices. Received e-invoices are automatically transferred to the purchase invoice list in SmartAccounts.

 

Invoice digitisation

PDF purchase documents can be uploaded to Bilnex for digitisation. Once reviewed and approved by the user, the documents are automatically transferred to the purchase invoice list in SmartAccounts.

 

Benefits for SmartAccounts users

As a SmartAccounts user, you can use Bilnex to send and receive e-invoices and to digitise PDF purchase invoices.

At present, all of these services – receiving e-invoices, sending e-invoices and invoice digitisation – are available to users free of charge.

The only requirement for using the integration is that the company must be subscribed to the Pro package in SmartAccounts.

 

How to activate the integration

  • Check your current SmartAccounts package under Settings – Billing settings and activate the Pro package if necessary.
  • Generate your API keys under Settings – Connected services – API.
  • Create an account in the Bilnex application.
  • Activate the integration in Bilnex and enter your SmartAccounts API keys under Info & Settings – ERP connection.
